Teach English As A Foreign Language #TEFL - http://bit.ly/gzXWwN

What is TEFL?
Teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) is a term used to describe teaching English to non-native speakers where English is not the first language. TEFL occurs within English speaking countries, typically in language schools, or in non-English speaking countries like Spain, China, or Japan… where TEFL can betaught in state schools, universities, private language schools or by freelance teachers.

Other teaching acronyms that exist include TESL and TESOL but most of the time a TEFL qualification qualifies you to apply for the majority of ELT (English language training) vacancies and visa versa.

Why do a TEFL course?
Teaching English students either at home or abroad is a rewarding experience. A TEFL qualification helps you to visit and work in places that you never thought possible, to meet new people and experience different cultures. Professionally you will learn a range of teaching skills that will never leave you. If you are looking to travel the world then a TEFL qualification gives you the opportunity to earn-as-you-go. Perhaps you are just looking for a change of career or a break from your current[spin]job. The possibilities are [spin]endless and the benefits include:
- earning a liveable wage wherever you are in the world
- working with people from all walks of life
- developing new teaching skills as you gain experience
- learning a new language for yourself (not compulsory but fun!)
- developing a meaningful career with further training
